So I implore you, don't waste your time trying to help people change into what you need them to be. You are not a parole officer, you are not a drill sergeant, you are not the CEO of Fix People, Inc. Let people be themselves so you can decide who stays and who goes. That's your only job. Your time, your energy, your life - all those things are limited. Give them to people who won't take them for granted. And to the others? Give them nothing.
