nce upon a time, in the Kingdom of Kiryat-Shmona, there was a nice, handsome prince called Alexander.
Alexander was very talented, and one of his talents was being both an early bird and a sleepy-head at the same time. Although he went to sleep long before the official, royal bed-time, he still went right back to sleep after the royal early-morning-jog, only waking up for an occasional meal or for the royal daily training, then sometimes exchanging letters with the princess of the far away kingdom of Zefat before falling asleep again till the next early-morning jog.
One day, the king of the far away kingdom of Zefat decided that the princess must go to sleep in a ridiculously early time. It did not matter how much she begged or cried, he would not change his mind. But oh – the poor princess was not used to such early hours, and when she woke up, ridiculously early, she could not fall asleep again, for she had already gotten all the sleep that she needed. So she started to miss Alexander.
When she sent for him, he did not reply. Neither did he show any sign of life when she wrote.
She started to grow anxious.
"Alexander!" she called in her heart. "What have I done to deserve this?!" , she cried.
But he would not wake.
Children, please help our prince and princess find each other – what do YOU think should happen next?
