ביום רביעי היה השלב השני בכימיאדה [הייתם מאמינים שעברתי את הראשון?]. חוץ מהמבחן, היה לנו גם סיור בכמה מעבדות [הידעתם שמגדלים יהלום בטכניון?], הראו לנו כמה ניסויים מגניבים [אל תגידו שאש סגולה זה לא מגניב.], קיבלנו עט של הטכניון [נו, לכמה ילדים בני 16/17 יש עט שכתוב עליו "טכניון"?], סנדוויצ'ים [שהיו דווקא לא רעים], וסופגניות [עם המון המון אבקת סוכר. יאמ.], וראינו את גארפילד, או לפחות העתק חי ודי מדויק שלו.

והמבחן? אני רק אגיד שאני לא ממש בטוחה שהאנשים שם ימשיכו לאהוב אותנו, כמו שהם אמרו שהם אוהבים [זה אולי נשמע מוזר, אבל אני חושבת שקשה להבין את צירוף המילים "אנחנו אוהבים אתכם" בצורה אחרת. אלא אם כן הם פשוט היו ציניים.], אחרי שהם יבדקו את המבחן שלי.

"יש לך אוזניים? ומה יש לך בין באוזניים? מן חומר אפור כזה? תשתמש בו."

לפני שבוע [שבוע? אולי יותר.] עשינו ניסוי כלשהו בכימיה שמערב תרכובת כלשהי בעלת ריח. הרבה מאוד ריח. אני רק אגיד שאחרי זה משחק מסירות עם חבילת טישו נראה משעשע ביותר. כ"כ משעשע, שאני זוכרת שכאבה לי הבטן מרוב צחוק.

[ועכשיו תגידו שכימיה היא לא מקצוע מעניין.]

"הנעל שלי מידה 44, אבל מסריחה כמו 48".
